Digital have recently completed a project for Atlantis Resources Corporation. Atlantis is a vertically integrated marine renewable power company providing highly efficient and reliable marine turbines for Tidal energy systems. Atlantis asked Digital to provide 3D laser scanning services at their new blade testing facility in Poole. Digital provided detailed laser scans of the blades while subjected to different pressures to allow accurate 3d part inspection. We were then able to generate 3D deviation reports showing the different deflections.
