Topographic Surveys
The first stage of any development work is the mapping of the site. This is a achieved through a topographical land survey. This results in a high quality and up to date plan which is an essential starting point for any assessment, planning or further design works.
The initial land survey will most likely be an integral part of the whole development project life-cycle and therefore needs to be accurate and include all relevant detail.
The size and complexity of the sites we carry out topographical and land surveys for vary enormously from simple open sites requiring just one day on site to complete the work, to land surveys of highly detailed sites such as petro-chemical or detailed railway applications.
We ensure rigorous quality control has been designed in to our data acquisition, data processing, management and presentation process at all stages.
A registry of drawing reference and revision forms the basis of our quality system; data and results from all stages of land survey works are routinely and independently checked by senior survey staff. All data is then produced in 3d xyz values, presented in Autocad format or any other format to suit clients cad system.
We provide large and small scale topographic and land surveys for builders developers and designers at any location across the UK & Europe, providing all necessary data for design and setting out of new structures and buildings.
Utilising the latest topographical survey & GPS technology we can provide cost effective, fast accurate data collection. Advances in GPS mean that for large open sites we can use continous-topo which is achieved through GPS equipped mobile ATVs. GPS coordinates and vertical heights are replayed via radio and blue tooth to a base station. Vast distances can be surveyed quickly and efficiently, it also prevents surveyors from becoming fatigued and provides high visibility on hazardous or busy sites.
