HIGH RESOLUTION ARTEFACTS SCANNING

Using state of the art short range 3D Scanners Digital Surveys can now offer sub millimetre scanning for artefacts or historical items. To be able to scan small objects a much higher resolution of laser is needed. Our scanners can capture details up to 0.2mm at speeds of up to 1.5milliions points per second. We also scan in colour which is vital for recording the exact condition of culturally historical items.

Once scanned the items are quickly converted to solid meshes and exported as .stl files for full rendering in packages such as 3D studio Max.
