Nexus Rail Monitoring – St James
Digital carry out on going monitoring work on the metro line tunnels to check for any movement, caused by piling from new development work above.
As well as surveying the station and tunnels traditionally we used our laser scanner to capture a rich dataset in a short period of time. From the scan data sections could be generated from the tunnel at specific intervals.
The laser scanner is an ideal solution for carrying out fast detailed surveys in dark hazardous environments.
