Last week Digital Surveys supported _Space Group at the BSEC exhibition at the Excel Arena in London. BSEC takes place to improve the education environments of future generations and was attended by the UKs leading architects, contractors ands suppliers. This year _Space were showcasing their BIGBIM Initiative.

BIG BIM takes Building Information Modelling further, moving beyond design and build, creating a single integrated data model that can be used for any project and works through four interlinked stages. BIG BIM challenges established procurement norms, pushing the industry to deliver at less cost, with less risk, less carbon and in less time.

The Big Bim stand was made up of 3D data collection and Revit modelling experts from Skape, Exitech, Digital Surveys and _Space’s in house Revit Gurus. Demonstrations were given throughout the day on Revit modelling, 3D laser scanning, city modelling and other key aspects of the BigBim lifecycle.
